About LOST
LOST is a small, family-run marketing studio based in Perth, WA, specialising in branding, strategy, graphic design, and story-driven marketing.
Started by Jace Leckie after more than a decade in senior marketing roles, LOST helps growing WA businesses bring strategy, creativity, and execution together through verbal and visual storytelling.
Everything is delivered with the flexibility of an independent freelancer rather than the price tag of an agency or a full-time CMO or marketing manager.
Leckie On-brand Story Telling
Great marketing is more than a collection of tactics. It’s the story you tell through your words, your branding, your visuals, your customer experience, and every touchpoint in between.
When that story is clear and on-brand, it builds trust, drives action, and creates momentum.
LOST exists to help businesses sharpen that story and bring clarity to their marketing. Many growing businesses invest time and money into marketing without a clear strategy or message guiding it. They’re not doing anything wrong, they just need someone to help bring everything together.
With LOST, businesses get access to high-level strategy, creative thinking, and hands-on delivery without hiring a full-time marketer or signing on with a traditional agency. It’s a practical, flexible way to build stronger brands, tell better stories, and create marketing that feels focused and effective.
Over the years I’ve worked with solo operators, family-run businesses, trades, creatives, professional services, SaaS companies, scale-ups, and one of Australia’s largest privately owned companies. That experience shapes how I think and how I work. It keeps everything grounded in clarity, storytelling, and real results.
My goal is simple: to bring structure and meaning back into your marketing.
Who I am
I'm Jace, a Perth-based husband, dad of two, and recovering marketing manager with a genuine love for storytelling.
My degree in Creative Writing from Curtin University helped shape the way I think about brand, narrative, and how people connect with ideas.
For more than a decade, I’ve helped businesses understand who they are and how to successfully market themselves with clarity and confidence. In turn, the leaders and teams I’ve worked with have helped me grow as a strategic marketer while teaching me that the strongest brands are built on people, not products.
I started LOST because it lets me work in a way that keeps me close to the strategy, close to the creative, and close to my family.
I believe good marketing should feel human and honest, and always tell a compelling story. If you get that part right, the rest tends to take care of itself.
With all the endless tools, tactics, buzzwords, and algorithms to wrestle with, real storytelling has become a lost art in the marketing world.
More than a one-man band
I’ve worked with some of Perth’s best creative and strategic thinkers over the years and I continue to leverage these relationships through LOST when the outcomes make sense for my clients.
I’m lucky to supported by a trusted, local network of graphic designers, brand strategists, photo/videographers, and digital experts in areas like PPC, SEO, and more.
This flexible model gives clients the best of both worlds: the personal attention of a small business owner-operator, with access to the right expertise when and where it’s needed, and never when it’s not.
The result is thoughtful, outcome-driven marketing with clear strategy, consistent storytelling, and measurable results, without the overheads of a traditional agency or full-time marketing hire.
Who we work with
LOST partners with small, medium, and growing businesses all across Perth and WA looking for clarity and direction.
Many clients come to me feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what to do next. Some are just starting out. Others are navigating exciting new stages of growth, expanding into new markets, or simply feeling a little “stuck” and ready to revisit their marketing strategy.
They’re seeking structured, sustainable growth. Most importantly, they’re looking for someone they can trust with the brand they’ve worked so hard to build.
The common thread isn’t industry or company size. It’s about good people doing good business, wherever they’re at.
